Natural Medication – The Best Cure For Diseases

Do you know that natural medication is the best cure for all diseases? Do you know that herbs and other natural medicines cure diseases safely and have no adverse effects?

Most of us are dependent on the conventional medicine. We believe that only medical doctors have the right say on what medicine is good for a certain disease. We grow up in this system, and it is hard to go against it.

We are all entitled to our own opinion. We should respect the opinion of others whether it is correct or not.  But it is always better to tell truth and spare ourselves from debilitating diseases.

Truth, in man’s standpoint of view, is very broad and is relative to almost everything. It is and will always be so unless it is an absolute truth. But there is only one absolute truth in this world- the Word of God!

Truth indeed is so relative and so broad to be discussed here. It will be futile to argue and not agree on something conclusive. It will do us good if we set it aside for the time being, and let us in stead discuss something which will be of great benefit to our health.

Let us talk about health. As I have said in my previous article, health is holistic. It is a balanced functional relationship of the 4 aspects of human life: physical, mental, social and spiritual. We will discuss on the physical aspect, although it is very obvious that whatever is done on the physical also affects the other 3 aspects.

To be physically healthy we need to know the 8 secrets of health, and apply them in our life. But sad to say, no matter how hard we try, we cannot follow them. So we become sick and unhappy.

We go to the hospital and see a medical doctor. He asks question about our medical history, examines us and prescribes a medicine – that is all! He does nothing more, and we go home immediately, unless our condition is critical. We pay the doctor for his services and of course we buy the medicines to become well.

Indeed we become well after taking the medicines that the doctor prescribed. But have we noticed that we seem to be frequenting the clinics and hospitals more of the time? Why the disease comes back so soon, and we are suffering it again? Was  it not cured, or the medicines created another disease?

This question creates arguments for the pros and cons that are hotly debated. The opposition says that conventional medicine is not safe, and that antibiotics does not cure but only transform the disease into another disease. Medical doctors insist that their medicines have undergone years of research and are safe.

This argument has no end. But if we have common sense, we will analyze and learn why we are sick again. Could it be the adverse effects of antibiotics? Could it be the doctor is incompetent? Or could it be your lifestyle doing harm to your body?

There is no use debating an argument that is not winnable. It only wastes our precious time. The best thing we can do is to compare the benefits of each and choose the better one.

Conventional medication involves some health hazards. Exposure to x-ray radiations is harmful to our body. Chemotherapy and mammograms are also dangerous to our body, and most antibiotics are creating more resistant bacteria in our body.

Natural medication such as herbal medicine, vegetarian diet, water therapy, steam bath,  fruit juice diet, exercise, and fasting are safer compared to conventional medication. They are readily available, cheaper and have no harmful side effects. It is the best cure for all diseases.

Fasting Is Good For Health

Fasting is good for the health. Many health benefits can be derived from fasting. Fasting cleanses the body  of toxins,   and allows the digestive system to rest.

I had had proven that fasting is good for health. The longest fasting I had was three days. Whenever I fast, I do not take anything except water;  no juice, no coffee or any drink except water.

When I started fasting, I noticed my stomach became hot. I thought fasting should be done without water, so I did not drink anything on the first day. I was forced to  drink water on the second day to relieve the heat inside my stomach.

Fasting is good for health.Though quite hard to do at first, but if you are eager to fast, and proceed whatever the feeling, you will notice as the day goes by that you become accustomed to it. I had that feeling on the second day of my fast. It became bearable on the second day, and easier as the days went by.

On the third day everything returned to normal, and the general weakness  due to hunger disappeared. My strength was restored, and there was a feeling of wellness, and a desire to continue the fast for a week. But there was an apprehension on my mind as to what will happen to me if I proceed to fast for a week or more, as it was the first time I fasted. So I stopped my fast after completing the third day, and came out from it gradually.

It is important to come out from fasting gradually. Liquid and juices should be taken after the fast for the digestive system to adjust accordingly. On the second day after the fast, solid food can be taken but lightly and in small quantities. It is better to take fruits and nuts. But avoid meats, for these are heavy proteins that are hard to digest. Give the body enough time to adjust gradually before taking other solid foods.

Fasting is good for the health. I noticed after the fast that my health improved. No more constipation, and my headaches disappeared, and I was able to sleep well at night. My  foods taste delicious and palatable, and I became stronger each day after the fast. This could be probably because of the taste buds being cleansed during the fast and the digestive system being able to easily assimilate and absorb the nutrients from the foods I took. And the best benefit I derived from fasting was the sharpness of memory and the keenness of mind. It was very easy to study my academic subjects after my fast, and I got high marks in my math subjects. All of these are proofs that fasting is good for health.

You can fast also by skipping your meals in a day. You can skip your dinner, and sleep without taking anything but liquid or fruit juice. Indeed fasting is very good for health. This is very good for the body. You will reap lots of health benefits from it. Or you can fast once a week or once a month, whichever is comfortable to. You can do it during weekends when you do not report to work and just stay at home. You can start fasting during weekends by skipping your lunch or dinner whichever is comfortable for you, and prove it yourself that fasting is good for health.
